Chapter Seven

“What the fuck?”

Alexis jackknifed up in bed, slamming her hands over her ears as she woke with a start. She could hear her own heart beating like a damn drum in her head, not to mention the various sounds coming from outside sounded like they were coming from right inside the bedroom.

Thorn gently eased her back down onto the bed, rubbing at her bare arms in comfort. “Rest easy, mate. Your senses are heightened now. Just imagine turned down a dial in your mind, and it will go back to normal.”

She closed her eyes and focused on turning down the volume in her head and was surprised when it actually worked. When she opened her eyes again she saw that it was daylight and both Thorn and Xavier were looking down at her with amusement flashing in their glowing eyes.

Her own eyes narrowed in response. “You think this is funny?”

“Aye, mate, and a good rising to you as well,” Xavier said as he leaned down to brush his lips against hers.

When he tried to push into her with his tongue she resisted. “Morning breath,” she muttered, trying to keep her lips sealed. He chuckled then her eyes widened as the clean taste of mint flooded her mouth. “Oh, wow.”

“You have only to ask and we will provide, mate,” Xavier murmured before he sealed his mouth over hers, his tongue delving deep.

“I think I can really get used to you and your magic. Talk about convenience in a rock hard package!” she said with a wink. Xavier chuckled then growled as her hand trailed down to stroke over his erection, gripping him.

“We cannot linger,” Thorn said from his side of the bed, his voice filled with regret. “Galan and Brydan are already anxiously waiting.”

Xavier let out a deep sigh. “Aye, I know. How do you feel this rising, little one?”

As both males watched her, Alexis stretched on the bed like a contented feline, making them groan as their cocks swelled. “I feel great. What?” she asked as they continued to eye her as if they were waiting for something. “What’s wrong?”

“You feel no different?” Xavier asked carefully.

Alexis paused as she took mental stock of herself. She figured after taking all four of them last night she would have woken up sore as hell. She gaped at them. “What changes exactly?”

Thorn and Xavier glanced at each other and she knew they were speaking to each other through their own bond. She could feel the energy hum over her skin like a small power surge.
